We are bringing it back due to its great success last year! This program is free for anyone over 16 who wish to play. There will be no coach, no skills, and no drills. This program is not for beginners.
*This program is offered only to those with an FHO membership who are Nepean Nighthawks members. For those registering for one of our programs you will have an FHO membership and are therefore covered. For those of you NOT registering for one of our other programs, but wish to play pick up, you will have to follow the steps for an FHO “Associate Membership” through our portal.
Word’s out, Ottawa is a goalie factory! This year there will be 3 Goalie Sessions run by Coach Hari. If you are not already a goalie, but are interested in becoming one please contact: email@example.com
Goalies please check the sessions out on the schedule page!
SUNDAY LEAGUE & GAMES:
Sundays will be a mix of training games and league games vs other clubs.
NATIONALS & HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM:
U15 Nationals & U18 Nationals (see schedule for details)
These will be Regional teams (not club teams)
There will also be an opportunity to register for a High-Performance Program, May – July, for players training for the provincial team and University field hockey. More information to come.
The Nighthawks run on volunteers. We strongly encourage all of you to lend a helping hand where you can. There are many opportunities to help for all ages. We are in need of club managers, division managers, refs, trainers, help with club day and tournaments, fundraisers, the list goes on. Please let us know if you can help with anything, we appreciate all the help we can get. The club can only be as great as its volunteers.
We need your support! We are currently the second largest club in Ontario. Moms and Dads please consider registering as an Associate FHO member. We want to make sure our voice from the Ottawa Region is heard at the provincial level and this will give us a great opportunity to expand our standing. Cost is only $20 and it gives us an extra vote at the FHO AGM. Our goal is to get 150 moms and dads registered in the program.
Thank you so much for your support!
We will need at least one manager per division. Please let the coach know if you are interested.
Please see the schedule page for details.
Subject to change.
We are planning to run mom programs on Monday or Tuesday during the U10 and U12 practices. We are currently looking for a coach and helpers. If you have played field hockey before and can help out with this, please let us know. This program will start the week of May 15
Club Day: Always a fun day for the whole club. All players, big and little play together!
Bring a Friend Day: Introduce your friends to the game you love!
Family Fun Run: Club Fundraiser and fun for family and friends
BANQUET: *new this year
In September, we will be hosting our first annual banquet.
