When do the programs / sessions run?
Spring/Summer: April-June
Summer Competitive Regional Teams: May-July
Winter: October-March
Please visit the Program Pages for details.

What is the cost of each program / session?
Programs vary in cost, due to the length of the season. You will find our costs to be very low compared to other sports. We are a completely non-profit and volunteer based club. The registration page has exact costs.

How do I register for a Nighthawks Program?
Registration is done online through the e-sports desk registration portal. Visit our Registration Page for available programs.

Where/When are the practices?
Outdoor: Minto Field @ Nepean Sportsplex
Indoor: Norm Fenn Gymnasium, Carleton University
The schedule varies for each age group and is updated regularly.
1.5 – 2 hours per session, 2-3 sessions per week (depending on field availability).
Check out the New Field Hockey Centre Project for info on our home-to-be!

What equipment is required?
Stick, shin guards, running shoes, water bottle, and mouth guard (mandatory). Turf cleats are ideal for Minto Field, and running shoes are ideal for Norm Fenn Gym. We do lend sticks to new athletes for the first few sessions at no cost, however we encourage players to buy their own sticks.

Where can I buy equipment?
Revamp Sports is our official sponsor and supplier. You can purchase equipment online through Revamp Sports.
We also have an equipment sale early in the Spring hosted by Revamp Sports. See Equipment Day for further details.

How do you organize your age groups / teams?
We do not have club sort outs or tryouts. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience levels. Our philosophy is to make sure that every player has a place to play. We always strive to keep players within their age groups. From time to time we may shift some players based on numbers and experience levels.

Also note that our Age Groups do not always line up exactly with out of town tournaments.  We will enter tournaments based on what we believe to be in the best interest of all of our Club Members (again we always attempt to find a place for all of our members to play).
