Both the Nepean U18 Girls and U14 Boys team competed this past weekend in the 2010 May Meltdown tournament in Mississauga….. and they made us very proud.
The Girls team was made up of mostly of girls playing up one and even two levels above their age category. This is no small feat. They competed very hard to the bitter end. This team has only been able to practice together for a short period of time, however they played with alot of heart and even played a very close game against a Women’s Professional team travelling here from Mumbai, India.
Way to go Girls!
Our U14 Boys brought home a Silver Medal !!!!
To say that the boys played well does not really illustrate what they have accomplished in such a short time.
Not only did they play hard and really surprise us all but they represented their club as great sportsmen.
The boys showed alot of heart and after a tie score in the final game lost in Penalty Strokes. You made us proud boys!!
