Hi Hockey Lovers,
We know that everyone has been waiting anxiously for some form of sport to return and for the Nighthawks to fly again. We are working diligently with our partners at the City of Ottawa to define a return to play shortly.
We hope to announce some program starting in July, though in a limited and scope.
Our community has always prided itself on our set of values to develop the health of our city through community sport which is why we are concerned by the activities of a small group of people.
IT has come to our attention that some from the field hockey community have been jumping the fence at Minto and playing in groups. Let us be clear the NIGHHAWKS DO NOT SUPPORT THIS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. It should be pointed out that you are not only doing harm to the reputation of our sport but you are also needlessly putting people at risk.
The gate is locked for a reason , please respect the situation.
