First thanks to all of you who have been participating this spring in the Nighthawks junior program.
Many of you are deeply involved with more established sports which have many more resources at their disposal and we can sincerely say that we really appreciate the patience you have shown while we attempt to re-establish field hockey in Ottawa.
Special thanks to all of you who have volunteered to help out, without you we would have not moved so far so quickly. Over all else we trust that the kids are having fun.
Please tour our new website. You will find up to date schedules and news at the site and we are doing our level best to keep it updated. Please visit it regularly and if you have any suggestions please forward them so we can improve the service.
Also note we have practice this sunday at Minto (nepean sportsplex) 12-2PM ( finally enough space to accomodate everyone)
We would like to have a parents meeting at the end of practice to update you on all the goings on over the last few weeks and discuss what we are planning moving forward and get you feedback.
Lastly, we would like to enter the June 4-6 tournament in Missisauga. The age divisions are as follows.
Boys U14
Girls U14
Girls U18
We would like to decide if we will be entering all three divisions or just two by this sunday, we require a minimum of 8 players for the U14 divisions and 13 for the U18 division. We will have accomodation, location, uniform and cost info at the sunday meeting.
