Our Philosophy
The Nighthawks’ goal is to provide playing opportunities for hockey players of all ages and abilities. This festival will be an environment where the hockey community can engage in friendly play, break bread, and connect. If you have athletes of any age or division who are interested in playing, but don’t have enough athletes for a full team please send us a message and will we do our best to integrate these players into the festival to ensure each athlete is able to benefit from game play.
The festival will include free lunch for all and an on-site Athletic Therapist. Depending on the number of teams registered in each division there may be an increased number of games.

Low Waste Event
The Nighthawks are committed to doing our part to reduce unnecessary single use waste. Sporting events can produce A LOT of waste, but they don’t have to. From piles of plastic water bottles to single use food containers and cutlery – we can do better.
Our Goals:
- Eliminate plastic bottles.
- Eliminate single-use foodware.
- Divert waste from landfills.

What We Will Do:
- Provide a water refill station.
- Offer reusable plates and cutlery.
- Provide recycling and compost bins on site
What You Can Do:
- Bring your own water bottle(s).
- Bring your own plate and cutlery.
- Avoid bringing waste to the site and use the provided bins when necessary

More examples of ways you can reduce your waste at the event are to opt for package free and homemade snacks over individually packaged items, bring your own travel mug for morning coffee run(s), and have the schedule on your phone instead of printing it out.

Volunteers, Umpires, and Sponsors
The Nighthawks rely on volunteers for successful events. We need technical officials, umpires, food coordinators, water coordinators, managers, sponsors, and people to set-up and take-down after all the fun.
Please send us a message to volunteer or express interest of sponsorship for these events.
