We have been working to build a team of dedicated personnel to help us provide our members with the best possible experience. We are so excited to share that all of our new hires are from within the community and have had brushes with the Nighthawks at one point or another. This new team will be leading the Nighthawks into the new reality of a COVID-conscious field hockey season. They will be making sure we can have fun and be safe at the same time!

Ian is a mechanical engineer who has been involved with the Nighthawks since he was a young teen. More recently Ian has contributed greatly to the success of Nighthawks community events like the West Barrhaven Community Centre event, the Ottawa Farmers' Market, and more.

Maureen Chopra
Director
Maureen is the Founder of the Nepean Nighthawks. Mau has coaches 1000s of athletes and has made an unimaginable number of contributions to the field hockey landscape. She has won several awards for not only her leadership, dedication to the community, and coaches, but also for her athleticism and hockey game.
Manu Singh
Treasurer
Manu has been involved in the Ottawa hockey community his whole life including being a Canadian National athlete for several years. He is now contributing to the grassroots of the Nighthawks through coaching, treasuring, and cheering on his two kids. Manu is the incumbent Treasurer.

Halley has been playing, coaching, and organizing with the Nighthawks since the early 2000s.

There are many opportunities to volunteer with the Nighthawks. Our common goal of providing a safe and positive environment for our young athletes cannot happen without the many volunteers in our organization.
