Team Canada Captain to Visit Nighthawks

Attention all Nighthawks:

Nepean Nighthawks are thrilled to announce that this Wednesday June 22 Canadian team captain Ken Pereira will be our special guest from 5-7 at Minto field Nepean Sportsplex.

The Nighthawks named Ken honorary captain for the 2011 season to celebrate his outstanding year and he has made time to visit us despite his hectic training schedule. He will be leaving for Vancouver early in July to begin training with Team Canada for the 2011 Pan Am games in Guadalajara, Mexico where Olympic qualification for London 2011 will be on the line.

In 2010-2011 Ken passed the 300 cap mark ( he has played in 315 official international matches for Canada), was named captain of Team Canada, carried the flag for Canada at the Commonwealth games in Delhi and was a member of the Euro Hockey League champion HGC (Netherlands).

You can see Ken’s Bio here

All Nighthawk players, parents and hangers-on are welcome.
****U10 PLAYERS****–even though this is not your regular practice night please make sure you come out!
